An outstanding 33% of grades achieved by Heathfield girls in 2011 were A* at A Level. The A* grades appeared in over half of the subjects taken
including: Mathematics, History, geography, Art & Design, Photography, English Literature and Chemistry. According to the A Level results for Girls’ Schools, published in The Times on Saturday 27th August 2011, Heathfield School ranks 12th for the number of A* grades achieved at A Level, outperforming other schools where the average A* grades achieved stands at 22.3%. Heathfield’s percentage of A* and A grades has increased further still since last year to stand at 60% and A*- C grades have also increased to 92%.
Heathfield also celebrates after another year of fantastic GCSE results. 100% of Heathfield’s GCSE girls achieved at least seven or more A* - C grades. A*s were awarded across a wide range of subjects including Mathematics, English, Biology, Religious Studies, French and History.
Congratulations must go to the girls and staff for all their hard work in obtaining such tremendous results across the board.
